HKS provided all roadway, utility and drainage design, as well as traffic engineering services for the reconstruction of approximately 1900-ft of Rio Grande Street, major collector roadway, from Belleview Ave to Crestline Avenue, in the City of Littleton.

Key civil design elements included the transition to the existing Belleview/Rio Grande bridge at the north end of the project, construction phasing to accommodate existing commercial and industrial development utilizing and directly accessing the roadway and the design of replacements, additions to and relocations of the existing utility and drainage facilities in the road.
