Harris Kocher Smith team members Kevin Roth, Michael White, Dave Schreffler, Nico D’Alessandro, Janette Rourke, Brandon Prioreschi, Jacob Seip, Mark Wilson, Gary Crane and guest runner Martha Campbell recently partook in the Post-News Colorado Colfax Marathon. This annual marathon’s mission is to produce an annual community based world-class marathon that brings positive attention and focus to the Colfax Avenue corridor. This huge event draws national attention to the region and promotes health and fitness among youth and adults.

More importantly, all net proceeds from the race go to Colorado Kids, the official charity of the Post-News Colorado Colfax Marathon. Colorado Kids funds programs that prevent obesity and promote healthy lifestyles among elementary school-aged children. The charitable foundations for Jeffco, Denver and Aurora public school will be the main beneficiaries.

This year’s race was the second for Harris Kocher Smith and provided members of our team with the opportunity to put their athletic interest and skill to a worthy, fulfilling cause. We look forward to participating in next year’s race.
